DESCRIPTION:🖼️ October Speaker Series – Photographing the Post Office Murals of America \nJoin us for an evening with Mark Bergman as he shares his travels to photograph the murals that were painted in post offices around the country. \nAfter retiring from a career working for industrial corporations\, Mark pursued his personal passions – travel\, photography\, and history. After discovering the federal murals project that started during the Great Depression\, he combined his passions to document the surviving murals across multiple states in the West and Midwest. Since moving to Colorado full-time two years ago\, Mark has photographed all the Depression-era murals in his new home state except three. In his travels around Colorado\, he also makes time to photograph the wildlife and scenic beauty of the state.
