2026 Speaker Series – “GuitART” – a presentation by local musician David Michael Boyd
Centre récréatif communautaire de Berthoud 1000 Berthoud Parkway, Berthoud, CO, États-UnisJoin us on March 17th at 7:00 pm at the Berthoud Recreation Center Community Room (1000 Berthoud Parkway) to hear a great presentation by local musician David Michael Boyd. This time, he is presenting his new program called "GuitART".
The GuitART Show is about the joy of restoration and discovering the hidden voices in rebuilding old, broken guitars. Each one of the eight guitars has a unique story and voice and an observation about life to share with us. Find out what sea shells, glue, and cracks in dehydrated wood have to tell us. This all-ages show is an interactive and inspiring experience!
The presenter: David Michael Boyd lives in Fort Collins, Colorado (for the 3rd time) and is an award-winning guitarist who has performed in 19 nations. His playing encompasses Blues, Jazz, Classical, and modern Finger-style Guitar music.

Musée des pionniers de Little Thompson Valley 224 Mountain Avenue, Berthoud, CO, United StatesL'observatoire Bunyan du Little Thompson Valley Pioneer Museum est une réplique fonctionnelle de l'observatoire astronomique de la cour que le banquier John Bunyan a construit dans sa maison de Berthoud en 1933.
Équipé du télescope Brashear original de Bunyan (6 pouces de diamètre et près de 7 pieds de long), l'observatoire est une exposition pendant les heures normales d'ouverture du musée et un site public d'observation des étoiles le premier vendredi soir de chaque mois, à partir du crépuscule.
