2026 Speaker Series – The Radical Samuel Adams – a presentation by local historian Paul Flanders
Berthoud Community Recreation Center 1000 Berthoud Parkway, Berthoud, CO, United StatesJoin us on February 17th at 7:00 pm at the Berthoud Recreation Center Community Room (1000 Berthoud Parkway) to hear a presentation by local historian Paul Flanders on The Radical Samuel Adams. As we are celebrating 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed, what better presentation could there be than on one of our Founding Fathers?
Paul Flanders will walk you through the ideas, the life, and the times of Samuel Adams. Some historians contend that Samuel Adams is “the most essential” of the Founding Fathers. He was perhaps the first leader of that era to conceive and fully embrace the idea that the colonies needed to revolt from England. Come learn about a man who helped to change the country we live in today.
