Researchers and Genealogists

The Berthoud Historical Society has a rich collection of primary source materials, including copies of the local newspaper, the Berthoud Bulletin dating from the turn of the twentieth century, and an extensive photograph archive charting the history of the town’s agricultural heritage, businesses, architecture, and people. We also have a limited collection of the old assessor records.

We welcome all researchers by appointment. Please email BHS@Berthoudhistoricalsociety.org to arrange your visit to the archives or to make an appointment with our curator of collections.

Please include details about your research project or research question.

In addition, if you would like one of our collections staff to undertake the research for you, we charge a minimum of $25 per hour.

If you wish to purchase copies of photographs there is a charge for this service. Please ask for details.
